Fairytales

Once upon a time there was a girl who had once met the Dalai Lama. She had lunched weekly with a US Senator and served as nanny to a family in Kaiserslautern, Germany. She had packed up and moved to Japan for a year of confusion, travel and the occassional all night binge with country singers. She met Rob Schneider along the crowded streets of Madrid. She founded a collegiate group dedicated to the International Criminal Court. She was a dancer and a pianist. She picked up a language...or two, studied politics and international relations, devoted herelf to coffee, Salinger and travel itineraries. She was motivated, dedicated, connected. She was interesting. Once.

I feel as though that stage of my life is all over now. Save the coffee...there shall always be coffee.

My body went to hell and forgot to kill me off first.

How thoughtful. A totalled car AND mono.

This has turned into one stellar Thanksgiving holiday!

Maybe for Christmas someone can shoot me in the foot and light my library on fire. Huh? Huh? Any takers? I'm open to other suggestions...head trauma sounds nice. Or maybe eviction....yeah, eviction. That's the way to go. I'm carless and jobless, might as well be homeless.

Or maybe just health insurance...that'd be nice.
