Today's school lunch menu:
Raw Whale.
Maybe that wasn't as in-your-face as I'd hoped. Try again.
RAW FUCKING WHALE!!!!
WTF people. wtf? Who eats raw whale? I have visions of chomping down on a blubbery No Longer Free Willy, emitting a squeaky sound similar to that after you just brush your teeth and rub your finger over them to prove to yourself that you are the Mac daddy of dental hygiene. It's not pretty. Wrong. Just wrong.

Ironically, I ate sushi for dinner tonight. Although, I don't think it was whale, and some of it seemed cooked. I hadn't heard of cooked sushi before.
Sushi can, in fact, be cooked. It's sashimi which is consistently raw...and presumably nauseating, though I'm picky.
Is it okay if you eat cooked whale?
Cooked whale...now that's a different story. Actually, I'd never eat it, and I don't mind if others do. It just struck me as odd that whale was considered lunch meat, so to speak.
People actually eat whale? Is it good?
Yeah...evidently. I had no idea either. Although, I just heard the other day that's its illegal, considering the quotas on whale fishing, to actually eat them. But here was an entire school serving it up for lunch. I have no clue if it's good...I didn't go near it. Besides the fact that I'm a vegetarian, that just sounds like something I'd regret.
